Postcards from Paris Fashion Week
I am so happy to be back in Paris after almost two years. This time of year, Paris is especially precious – the early autumn light, the buzzing fashion madness, every corner seems to exude energy and inspiration. Despite coming for the Chanel and Louis Vuitton shows, I always make time to stop at a few of my favorite places and explore new sources of inspiration.
This trip, I made time to lunch at one of my favorite Japanese spots in town @Toraya – you know how I can't stand a day without matcha and their matcha is one of the best you can get outside of Japan. I also found a few spare minutes to indulge my ceramics weakness. Of course, I stopped at @Astier de Villate.
It goes without saying that the Chanel show was perfection. They returned to the Grand Palais after a four-year absence and made the most of its beauty and natural light. The set featured a large birdcage and the collection was an homage to freedom - encouraging women to spread their wings and take flight.
Later in the afternoon, I had some time for serendipitous strolling through small streets filled with famous galleries and antique stores – I was lucky to find an absolute vintage gem. After days like these, my skin is so thankful for my Sonsie routine – helping my skin stay hydrated and glowing. Looking forward to my next trip to the City of Light!
